How to Animate Numbers Counting Up and Down in Unity

In this tutorial we go over how to animate text counting up or down between any 2 numbers using a Coroutine in Unity 2019.4 (or other version, 2018, 2020, 2021+ also works great!). This is a great way to animate IAP currency additions and subtractions, health, or any other common number display. We also take a look at how to format the number so it includes commas and decimals automatically.
